Whitney & Coleman Win the Showcase in 2022
Former Spokane Chiefs legend and 22-year NHL veteran Ray Whitney shot 70 on Saturday, coupled with the 66 he put up on Friday, to take the gross score title at 6-under par, edging out retired NFL kicker Josh Scobee and Golf Channel personality Blair O’Neal, who both finished at 4-under.
It was Whitney’s second title at the Showcase. He previously won in 2018.
Retired MLB great Vince Coleman won the net score title at 17-under.

Team up with Community Cancer Fund and stars from the worlds of sports and entertainment for the 7th annual edition of the Showcase July 28-30, 2022 in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. This celebrity tournament & fundraiser has become one of the premier golf tournaments on the West Coast.
Sponsorship package amenities vary by level.
The weekend kicks off with the Porsche Par-3 contest at The Coeur d’Alene Resort Golf Course and the first night ends with The Pairing’s Party. Nightly hotel accommodations at The Coeur d’Alene Resort.
Friday’s Pro-Am day begins with celebrity team captains teeing it up at The Coeur d’Alene Resort Golf Course, with corporate executives and community leaders, for a best ball format tournament. Food and beverages are provided throughout the day. Each golfer also receives a tee package from our apparel partner(s). Friday also features The Ladies Lounge hosted by Nordstrom, offering shopping, beauty services and more for non-golfing guests and attendees. Friday evening, participants will board a cruise boat for an evening cocktail reception on their way to the 19th Hole Party for dinner and a phenomenal concert by a TBD recording artist. Previous entertainers have been The Doobie Brothers, The Blues Brothers and Darius Rucker.
Saturday’s celebrity exhibition of the Showcase has the celebrity field teeing it up at The Coeur d’Alene Resort Golf Course. Attendees can follow alongside their favorite celebrities throughout the course. Grab a tasty beverage from the beer garden, a burger or sandwich from the food trucks in the Porsche Pavilion and enjoy incredible lakeside views. Some packages include VIP credentials to an exclusive 18th Hole Skybox Suite with all-inclusive food and beverage. Some packages also include access to The Kalispel Club exclusive viewing area on the 18th Hole with complimentary refreshments. the Showcase concluded with Saturday’s celebrity exhibition at The Coeur d’Alene Resort Golf Course. Former Major League Baseball pitcher Mark Mulder, who claimed a four-shot victory over NHL great Ray Whitney as the celebrity gross champion while Janet Gretzky was the net champion, winning in a card-off against her husband NHL great Wayne Gretzky.
“It was very important to come back this year,” said Mulder, who also won the 2019 event before last year’s was canceled due to COVID-19. “...to be able to come somewhere and see smiling faces, to me, means more than anything. Especially to see all the little kids. You can tell there’s people here living their lives and enjoying it.”

We turned the front-9 of the Coeur d’Alene Resort Golf Course into the Porsche Par-3 contest on Thursday July 29, 2021. The winners of the inaugural Porsche Par-3 Thursday tournament are Mark Roff and Mike Scimo with a total gross score of 26 (-1).

Every year since 2014, we have come together on the last weekend of July in Coeur d’Alene to fight cancer. Last April, we made the difficult decision to cancel 2020 Showcase festivities amidst the uncertainties of a global pandemic.
In 2020, we missed golfing with you.
We missed Friday afternoons enjoying the Ladies Lounge filled with bites, bubbles, beats and beauty.
We missed sharing delicious meals with unbelievable backdrops.
And we missed spending evenings taking in the scenic views of Lake Coeur d’Alene enjoying world-class musical talent on stage.
But we remained hopeful knowing we would do all of this again soon. We knew it might look a little different with the safety and health of everyone in mind, but the people and cause wouldn’t change.
In 2021, we look forward to recreating this magical July weekend. It will be everything that it always has been and more!

Our world has been turned upside down. For the past few weeks, our lives have been filled with uncertainty and fear, as we’ve all been asked to make changes to help keep others healthy. As a result of this global pandemic and unknown in front of us, we’ve made the difficult decision to delay our annual Showcase festivities until July 2021.
Our world has been turned upside down. For the past few weeks, our lives have been filled with uncertainty and fear, as we’ve all been asked to make changes to help keep others healthy. As a result of this global pandemic and unknown in front of us, we’ve made the difficult decision to delay our annual Showcase festivities until July 2021.
This journey with COVID-19 has upended our lives, much like a cancer diagnosis does. We’ve been scared. We’ve grieved. But it has also strengthened our belief that we are all in this together. We are more committed than ever to work with our community partners to ensure no cancer patient walks through their journey alone, and they have the critical support they need.
Cancer doesn’t stop, and neither do we. We will continue to keep you updated on our 2020 plans and activities, and look forward to the day we can celebrate together when it’s safe. In the meantime, we ask for your support as we continue to financially assist cancer patients with daily challenges due to a cancer diagnosis and the current COVID-19 crisis.

Mark Mulder dominated The Showcase celebrity field to win by eight strokes at The Couer d’Alene Resort Golf Course.
The Community Cancer Fund drew a broad range of some of the world’s best athletes for the 2019 Showcase at the Coeur d’Alene Resort Golf Course, and former MLB All-Star Mark Mulder dominated to win by eight strokes. Mulder finished at 6 under par at the two-round, 36-hole tournament, beating former NHL veteran Ray Whitney (2 over) and two-time winner and former NHL veteran Brenden Morrow (4 over).
